Beth Brown’s voice cuts straight to the heart. Buoyed by Pat Thomas’ propulsive drumming, Mitch’s melodic bass-as-lead-guitar, Matt nailing down the sound with power chords, it’s her voice that rose the band above the fray of their influences and sent them careening, on a good night, out into the unknown. That …plus Pat Thomas, as manager, calling everyone in the western world who would take his call. “It was this outlet”, says Mitch Rasor, bassist & principal songwriter, “…with all 4 of us plugging into it. It just happened….how the hell does that happen? Lightning strikes. Absolute Grey got lucky. It was this rare thing”.
